One of the brilliant small businesses that Exclusive Seals has been providing labels for lately is ‘Grown Up Marshmallows’, an artisan confectionery company whose delectable marshmallow morsels tantalise tastebuds nationwide.
As well as appearing at food fairs and farmers markets, like many gourmet food producers they supply their products through various shops and cafe’s as well as running an online store via their website. When they were looking for the perfect label solution for their bagged marshmallows, they came to us.
Their products are extremely pretty in themselves so it was important that their labels didn’t detract from this, but they did need to re-iterate the premium quality of their confectionery and communicate the flavour and brand clearly and immediately.
We produced a sleek label template, combining silver foil and glossy black label vinyl.
Moisture and scuff resistant, and incorporating a food friendly adhesive which would stay securely stuck. We added a classically simple border too, to help the label stand out.
When it comes to printing labels, incorporating a border can be a challenge for some printers. Perfecting the alignment precisely is not that easy, but at Exclusive Seals we’ve perfected the technique and don’t shy away from borders - in fact we’d actively encourage using them on branded labels for increased visibility.
